Meet Morgan

Brett Clements

We’ve said it before, and maybe you’re sick of hearing it by now, but it’s true. We have great people working in OU IT. Talented students, dedicated professionals–you get it. Morgan Clement, we’re happy to report, is no exception. Cajun food aficionado and science whiz, Morgan is also a valued student intern on our Learning Spaces Team. As a team lead, her role is to oversee tech support initiatives for our labs and classrooms.

We invited Morgan to our office a few weeks ago to chat about some of her favorite things, and there was talk of cake. And chocolate! Of course we’ve thought of nothing else since.

What is the best thing about your hometown?

Cajun food. I’m from Baton Rouge, so there is never a lack of good, Cajun cuisine nearby.

How would you spend your perfect day?

I would go someplace snowy. I’ve never experienced snow, so spending time in a snowy state would be really cool to me!

What did you care most about at age 10?

My school science classes. I’m a biochem major and would like to work either as a pediatrician or in urgent care, so doing well in science classes has always been important to me.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love cooking! My favorite meal is steak and potatoes, but I also enjoy decorating cakes. However, if I could only eat 1 food for the rest of my life, it would definitely be chocolate. (We agree wholeheartedly, Morgan.)

What is your favorite thing about working in tech at OU?

I love getting to use my technical skills while also working with people. I also really enjoy the social aspect of working for OU IT.
