One of the best parts of working in OU IT is having the privilege of hearing from students, faculty, and staff who are passionate about technology. That’s why when Kim Thomas, Senior Strategist for Academic North suggested we make a video about students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programs, we jumped at the chance.
She gathered professors from the College of Engineering and MIS professors from the College of Business who could collaborate with us on this project and identify students who were leaders in their programs. We reached out to those students, and with the help of our film and video studies intern, we created something great. The students were nothing short of inspiring. They were passionate, articulate, and they made us feel excited about the future and the ways we can use technology to educate tomorrow’s leaders. Watch the video to see for yourself!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this project and to Kim for letting us help.
