How was your week? Need a break from end of semester stress? Unwind with some of the fun events below!


Dress up as a superhero while raising money for autism awareness, advocacy, and families this Friday night at the very first Hero Dance! Go dressed as your favorite superhero and enjoy a night of music, dancing, raffles, a photo booth, and more! Event begins at 7:00 pm at the OU Chesapeake Courtside Club (In Lloyd Noble Center), tickets are $5 for students.

This Friday, participate in the Student of Petroleum Engineers team for OU’s Relay for Life event! Take action to help raise money and awareness for cancer research.

Don’t miss the end of the semester Crawfish Boil hosted by OU’s SPE this Saturday! This FREE events lasts from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.

The OU Schools of Music and Dance will host their collaborative production this Sunday! As part of the Sutton Concert Series, Carmina Burana will show beginning at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $5 with OU student ID.


Norman’s annual May Fair Arts Festival begins this Saturday at 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. Don’t miss some of Norman’s finest musicians, artists, and food trucks. Admission is free.

Head over to Downtown Main Street this Saturday to celebrate the anniversary of The Great Land Run of 1889. The 89er Day Parade begins at 10:00 am.

What better way to welcome the month of May than with a concert? The Depot will host musical artist Griffin House this Sunday at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15.


This Friday, the Myriad Botanical Gardens will host the O. Gail Poole: Flora and Felines art exhibit at 7:00 pm. Admission is free.

Need some new bling? Head over to the International Gem and Jewelry Show and Sale this Saturday at 10:00 am to see a wide variety of beautiful jewelry. Admission is $6.

Spend your Sunday outside on an OKC Ferry Cruise! Tickets are $15.
