You made it! Dead week, finals? You pushed through. The end of the semester calls for celebration. Whether your family’s in town for graduation or you’re ready to enjoy some free time with friends, here are some great ways to stay entertained this weekend.

Watch the fireworks and cheer on your friends at OU’s Commencement ceremony. The event begins at 7 and will feature OU alumna Ruth Simmons, first female president of Brown University.

It’s been 4+ years of avoidance, so come celebrate your chance to finally stand under the clock tower! The Class of 2016 Clock Walk is from 10 – 6 and will have free sno cones.

In case you missed it, seniors are graduating this weekend! Celebrate your friends’ achievements at their Convocation ceremony. Visit the link to see the date and location for each college.

Appreciate local art at Main Street’s 2nd Friday Art Walk. The event is free to the public and most galleries will be open from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Destress from finals week and play with some corgis at the Norman Community Dog Park. The dogs will rally at 10 am this Saturday, so don’t miss out on some puppy love!

Eat at food trucks and listen to live music at Saturday’s Beats & Bites. Featuring over 15 unique food trucks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy outside of Riverwind.

Shop local at OKC’s Indie Trunk Show. From 10 – 5 community artists, crafters, and business owners will be selling their handmade merchandise at State Fair Park.

Crazy about weird science? Love supporting local businesses? Then this Friday’s LIVE! on the Plaza is the place for you. Festivities start at 7, with intriguing exhibits from the OKC Science Museum and some great food from the Plaza District restaurants.

Happy weekend, Sooners. Happy graduation, seniors.  And happy summer to all of you!
